About eTalent

eTalent Institute of Technology & Leadership, established in 2024, is a U.S.-based nonprofit expanding opportunity through technology, education, mentorship, leadership development, and innovative research. Beginning with disadvantaged and underserved youth in the Eritrean diaspora, eTalent uses AI-enabled personalized learning to strengthen foundational and technology skills and open pathways to further education and careers. As our model grows, we aim to expand these opportunities across the Horn of Africa.

eTalent also partners with leading educational and professional institutions to develop ethical leaders who can strengthen communities and institutions. Through applied research and responsible innovation, we explore how AI and emerging technologies can expand opportunity and strengthen institutional capacity.

“eTalent was founded from a belief that cycles of conflict and displacement should not define the opportunities available to a generation of young people. We believe that with access to education, technology, mentorship, and opportunity, young people can learn, grow, advance, and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Our journey begins with the Eritrean diaspora, but our vision reaches across the Horn of Africa. We are  investing in people and developing ethical leaders who can strengthen communities and institutions.“
